Thank you, Louise, for teaching me how to take impressions and moulds! Louise is incredibly helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to answer any questions. The BSA course requires you to complete two essays, which ensures you fully understand the process and can take molds safely. I would highly recommend this course!

I have attended the Otoscopy and Impression Taking Course and really enjoyed it. Louise is a fabulous trainer. She is very thorough and knowledgeable and ensured that every course member was well looked after and had all questions answered, enabling them to work their way through the coursework. I have expanded my skill set, knowledge and experience. I was so impressed that I have just booked another course, so will back soon. Thank you Louise and Gemma.

Louise is extremely knowledgeable and friendly making audiometry and tympanometry easy to understand along with the complications that may be faced. I will certainly be attending more related courses in the future.

I attended a day training course in aural impressions to refresh and extend my knowledge with Louise. Fantastic course, packed with detail and knowledge. Full, friendly support given throughout the day as well as encouragement. Louise is great, very welcoming and so experienced as well as passionate in her field! Great group to train with and I felt reassured that the training I was receiving was to such a high standard. Would highly recommend to those who are needing training/refreshing to use TJ Audiology Training.

Attended the masking course. Louise is a great teacher, patient and passionate about Audiology, explained everything clearly and delivered the course well. I am grateful for all the advise and support.

Feedback from courses:

Surveillance Audiometry

“Very informative with powerpoint and we had plenty of time during the practice sessions”

Impression Taking

“Getting hands on with the impression material and being guided through the correct technique. Also being able to practice on other students”

“Very open, inclusive and interactive. Felt like you could ask anything”

“Everything was explained very well and the course leader was very patient with everyone and ensured that we were competent with all of the equipment”

“The practical side of the course was great, we had lots of opportunities to practice on different people”

Adult Impression Taking

“As a complete, beginner and slightly nervous of the practical aspect, there was a great deal of empathy and confidence building through out, you never felt left behind. It was good to be led by example, and the opportunity to practice with a hand on approach was excellent” [Training course]

“Good balance of theory and practice”

“The course is very clear and well laid out. The examples of inner ear photographs were really helpful”

“Information was on point and demonstrations showed a real professional touch without being patronising”

“Being able to practice on other students knowing you have supervision from very experienced Audiologists who can instruct you in the correct way of doing Otoscopy and Impression taking had been one of the many strengths of the course. By giving you a strong foundation in Impression taking and Otoscopy along with in-depth discussion on contraindications the course arms you with so much more confidence and knowledge to pursue this area at work”
