We use different training venues in Newbury for our courses:

Our Otoscopy & Impression Taking courses now take place at Sonic Labs in Newbury. Sonic Labs is an independent manufacturer of premium quality earmoulds supplying the NHS and private dispensers across the UK.

Sonic Labs is based in Kingfisher Court, on Hambridge Road in Newbury. Their premises consists of an extensive refurbished laboratory with dedicated work stations focussed on each stage of earmould production, plus a modern administrative office, training room and separate quality control area and storage facilities.

We’re delighted to have the opportunity to offer our Otoscopy & Impression Taking training courses at Sonic Labs and Louise feels that it is the perfect training environment for this course.

Our Wax Removal (Aural Care), Surveillance Audiometry, Basic Audiometry & Tympanometry (3 days, 2 days and 1-day courses) will take place in a large, bright room on the second floor of West Berkshire Museum in Newbury.

With its central location and just a short walk from the train station and close to hotels such at Travelodge and Premier Inn, West Berkshire Museum is a convenient venue for our training courses. You’ll also have the opportunity to pop into see Tracy an the rest of the TJ Audiology Training team at the Tracy James Hearing clinic on Wharf Street, directly opposite the museum.

Getting to Newbury

By car: Newbury is accessible from the M4, A34 and M3/A303 FROM THE M4 (JUNCTION 13)/ A34 (OXFORD OR NORTH).

By train: Newbury station is on the main line from London Paddington to the Southwest of England. For courses at Sonic Labs we recommend that you get off at Newbury Racecourse station as this is on Hambridge Road and just a few minutes walk to Kingfisher Court.
